Anbound's chief researcher, Chen Gong points out that one should not underestimate the economic contributions that could be made by Taiwan’s Democratic Progressive Party in the future, even Tsai Ing-wen, has the cards to play with. If Tsai Ing-wen is able to put the "Made in Taiwan" concept into good use and globalize the “Made in Taiwan” concept with the aid of supportive financial policy, then Taiwan will be able to regain its market share in manufacturing and servicing sectors, bringing the Taiwanese economy to another level. In light of the cross-strait economic cooperation between China and Taiwan coupled with the immense market opportunities in mainland China, the relations with China and Taiwan, particularly their trading relationship will not be facing big problem.
