China is one of the few rare countries in the world which is dominant by middle way policy, a country where its main focus is on middle way policy. Anbound's chief researcher, Chen Gong, is of the view that as the society makes progress, the leadership model, too, should change and be innovative. The changes of strategic thinking during development should shift from "middle way" towards “holistic”, from “middle way” towards “overall”. The difference being the efficiency, which is also the key to maximize the efficacy of the policy. Unless there is such improvement, reform bonus is out of question and reform will eventually fail due to internal friction.
