While presenting an excellent development opportunity to Xinjiang, the Silk Road Economic Belt too demands Xinjiang to upgrade its development. Anbound's chief researcher, Chen Gong is of the view that the following six factors are of more significance : - (i)A stable society with order; (ii)The construction of basic infrastructure; (iii)A complete and open information system; (iv)High speed railway; (v)The internationalization of Urumqi; and (vi)The development of education. The central government, the local government of Xinjiang Autonomous Region together with the people of Xinjiang should plan the future development of Xinjiang based on professional study, planning and design.
