Anbound's senior researcher Chen Going pointed out that correct understanding of political influences would be required in the development of Beijing. The political influences in the urban development of Beijing are mainly local politics with little influences of central politics. Beijing will need to reflect on this and not exaggerating the political influences, and should not use this as an excuse of mistakes in urban planning.
